Istanbul Becomes Office Communicator 2005

Microsoft will call its new integrated communications client Microsoft Office Communicator 2005 in the manufacturing and distribution of products within 90 days, the company said Tuesday.

Formerly codenamed "Istanbul" communicator, is Microsofts preferred clients Live Communications Server 2005. The Leisure and Cultural Services, originally in December 2005, is the main export of Windows Messenger.

Communicator is designed to provide on-site information, and to provide communication through instant messaging, voice, video, telephone and Web conferencing capabilities visit.

April of this year, Microsoft will release a service pack, for logistics, 2005, increased support Communicator client. In addition, Microsoft also issued a public instant messaging connectivity (PIC) for enterprise-class connectivity, from LCS to the MSN, AOL and Yahoo! Public IM networks.

PIC permits will be available at each user per year subscription service on the basis of the beginning of April 1. License will include access to the three major public IM networks. PIC license will be an additional cost, in addition to LCS license and Communicator client access licenses.
