Office Accelerator Coming for Sarbanes-Oxley

Microsoft plans to release a tool for the United States to comply with the Sarbanes - Oxley Act in March this year, the company announced this week.

The tool will be part of the Microsoft Office Solution Accelerator Series, will be built and the Windows SharePoint Services and the Microsoft Office InfoPath 2003.

Sarbanes - Oxley Act was adopted in 2002 and dealing with the internal financial controls of publicly traded companies. Microsofts Office Solution Accelerator for Sarbanes - Oxley Act, will be devoted to meet the needs repeated on internal control document, monitoring and testing.

Microsofts accelerator position as a way "to help companies meet the ever-increasing regulatory requirements, in a cost-effective way with software they already license." The software giant will use its own experience, as a publicly listed company to comply with Sarbanes - Oxley Act, in its development efforts. Microsoft Shiketedi controller, said that his group is working with Microsoft product groups to develop the products. Microsoft is also increasing input from the four major accounting firms.
